NYC Intense Lip Color Review

NYC Intense Lip Color Review

To be honest I normally am content with just using chapstick for my lips. Most of the time I am just going to school or work so a bold lip isn't always appropriate. I decided I needed to start growing my lip product collection for special events or nights out. I wanted to try out a couple different drugstore products so I could figure out what works best for me. I picked out this NYC Intense Lip Color in Gramercy Park Plum.

This is an amazing berry color and it actually works perfect for my coloring! I really like this product because instead of a lipstick it is more like a crayon. The shape of the crayon works perfectly and lip liner isn't even needed with this. This is a twistable product which is nice and the formula is very creamy. It does last relatively well; I have worn it to dinner several times and it still has looked good when I returned home.

I purchased this at Target for $2.99 which was definitely worth it. This product is worth a try and comes in a range of colors. I would recommend this to anyone trying to incorporate some bolder lip colors into their makeup looks.

e.l.f. Mineral Primer Review

e.l.f. Mineral Primer Review

Personally, I feel that primer is an essential part of my routine if I intend for my makeup to last all day. I have tried many drugstore primers and the consistency of this one makes it a winner in my book! I have it in the Brightening Lavender but have had several of the original clear mineral primers in the past. These primers  just glide on so smooth and create the perfect base for your foundation.

I always start off my foundation routine by washing my face, using toner and moisturizing. I let my moisturizer soak in for at least five minutes before applying my primer. This primer absorbs really quickly and is super easy to apply. I love the formula which is designed to fill in fine lines and create a flawless finish. I would say that is does its job very well and it comes with a pump!

This is one of e.l.f.'s pricer products at $6.00 and it is available online here. For a primer this is a reasonable price and you really only need one pump to apply to your entire face. This product would be perfect for anyone who uses face primer on a daily basis. I highly recommend this!

Ogx anti-breakage keratin oil Review

Ogx anti-breakage keratin oil Review

I decided I want to give an Ogx shampoo and conditioner duo a try. I picked out the anti-breakage keratin oil shampoo and conditioner. I have very minimal breakage in my hair and I tend to choose anti-breakage shampoos and conditioners to keep it that way. I was excited to give these a try and my sister, who has very similar hair to mine, is a big fan of these products.

I have completely finished off the conditioner and have almost finished up the shampoo. I have to say I LOVE these products! I plan to repurchase very soon and I would like to try some of the other formulas. The shampoo is really rich and lathers like crazy. The conditioner is the perfect consistency, sort of thick but workable. I love a thick conditioner and I always apply it very generously because my hair is very thick and tangly. The scent of these products is heavenly, very light but it smells  awesome.

The products are available at Target for $5.69 each. I actually purchased mine at Rite Aid during a buy one get one free sale. This is one of the best anti-breakage shampoo and conditioner duos I have ever used and it left my hair smooth and shiny after every use. I would highly recommend these to anyone!

e.l.f. Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick Review

e.l.f. Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick Review

I have had these e.l.f. eyeshadow sticks for about a year now. I decide to give these a try one day when browsing at Target. I think to try out different types of eye products and e.l.f. is a great way to try them out affordably. I don't like to invest a lot into a product when I am not sure if it will work out for me. I hadn't tried  an eyeshadow stick out before these and they are definitely worth a try.

I have two of these sticks in the shades Turkish Coffee (top color) and Little Miss Thing (lower color). When I first got these products I wasn't really sure how to use these properly. I gave them a try for awhile but they seemed to crease really easily and fade away after just a few hours. I kinda put them to the back of my makeup organizer and forgot about them. I recently came back to them and decided to give them another shot.

I have been loving using Little Miss Thing along with my Urban Decay Primer Potion. The primer makes the eyeshadow stay all day! I also have been loving blending the two colors and putting Turkish Coffee in my crease. The primer makes all the difference! These products are available for just $2 on the e.l.f. site and comes in five different shades.

I would definitely recommend trying out these eyeshadow sticks! At such a low price point you just cannot go wrong! Just be sure to have a good eyeshadow primer on hand to experiment with these.

Suave Moroccan Dry Body Oil

Suave Moroccan Dry Body Oil Review

I decided to give this product a try when it was on sale at Target for under $3. I like the idea of a body oil to replace my body lotion I use to moisturize after showers. This product is unique from anything else I have and was worth the try.

The product is infused with moroccan argan oil and has a really nice, light scent. The directions say to "spray all over body or massage into dry skin for an ultra hydrating experience". I have used this product many times after showering to moisturize. The results are great but this requires a lot of product. I have also used it a lot on my hands when they get dry from washing them to much. I really like the product for this purpose.

The packaging claims the product drys instantly. From my experience the product takes several minutes to dry and then some to full absorb into the skin. This was my only disappointment with the product. The product is available for $5.99 at Target

This product is worth giving a try as the price point is low enough to experiment with a body oil. The results are great, just be prepared to have to wait for the product to fully soak in before getting dressed.

Revlon Photofinish Foundation Review

Revlon Photofinish Foundation Review

I had heard a lot about this product on YouTube like many of the beauty products I try. I knew I had to give it a try when I found it on sale at Rite Aid for $3.67, originally $14.69! There were only two shades available for this amazing price and luckily one of them was a match for me. I was so excited to give this product a try after getting such a great deal!

The product lives up to all the hype I had heard about it before finally giving it a try! I am in the shade 002 Vanilla which is the perfect match. The coverage is medium which I personally like. I am not a fan of super full coverage foundation just because I hate that "cakey" feeling. This foundation is definitely buildable if you desire a more full coverage look. The product has a pump which is always a bonus in my book. It also has SPF 20, this product has it all.

Overall, this is a great product! This is available at Target for $11.79. I would highly recommend this foundation for anyone who like a medium coverage foundation. This product has quickly become one of my drugstore foundation favorites!

Maybelline Fit Me! Powder Review

Maybelline Fit Me! Powder Review

This product is probably my all time favorite translucent powder. I have repurchased twice now and the product lasts a considerably long time. I have the shade 100 which is the translucent powder in the matte + poreless formula. I believe this product makes all the difference in the lasting power of my foundation.

I use this product on an everyday basis typically with my e.l.f. powder brush. This particular brush is the perfect size for the job and works very well with the powder. As this is a matte powder it really helps to give my foundation a matte look. It is a very lightweight formula which makes it extremely easy to wear. I also really like the packaging; it comes with a mirror and sponge applicator in the bottom portion. This makes touch ups easy even on the go.

This product is  $5.99 at Target and available in a wide variety of shades. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who uses a pressed powder on a regular basis. This is by far the best pressed powder I have ever tried, give it a try!

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer Review

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer Review

A few months ago when updating my makeup collection I knew this product was one I needed to get. I have heard A  TON of beauty gurus on YouTube rave about this product. The product lives up to all the hype and has become an essential in my everyday routine.

I use the product strictly as an under eye concealer and I love it. I have very fair skin and this product (in the shade fair) is perfect to brighten up my under eyes. The formula provides full coverage but does not get cakey or crease. I tend to apply this before my foundation and really blend it out with my foundation to get the perfect look.  The sponge applicator makes it really easy to apply and makes application a little easier to control.

The product is available at Target for $6.99. The product lasts awhile as you only have to use it sparingly. I would really recommend this product if you use an under eye concealer on a regular basis! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Body Scrub Review

Body Scrub Review

This is an amazing pin I found for a simple body scrub from this site. I tend to exfoliate my body about once a week. I have tried a bunch of different body scrubs and this one seriously tops them all!

This scrub is on the more abrasive side compared to any other scrub I have tried, which I like. The oil makes it very moisturizing and the brown sugar is perfect for exfoliating. I love that it can be made at home with things that I already have on hand. I have made three different batches and loved it more and more each time!

The original post even mentions that you can put the leftovers in an airtight container and save for it later! This scrub is super easy to make and gives you amazing results. Give this a try ladies!

Maybelline The Nudes Palette

Maybelline The Nudes Palette Review

I debated buying the Naked 2 Pallete for quite awhile before I decided I wanted to give this palette a try first. I saw an advertisement for it in a magazine a knew I needed to give it a try. I ended up getting it as a christmas present from my Mom. Before we really get into the review I am gonna give you a little background about my eyeshadow wearing habits. I have light skin and blue eyes so I stick to neutrals 99% of the time. I really love browns and golds on myself so generally I stick to only those colors. For that reason I was going to invest in the Naked 2 palette because I know the shades in the palette would be well loved. I tend to stick with shadows that have a bit of shimmer versus completely matte shadows.

I did a previous post on my Urban Decay Primer Potion. This is the one product I cannot do an eye look without! The combination of the eyeshadow primer and the Maybelline palette shadows is a winner! The look always lasts all day and the color payoff of the shadows is amazing. The palette has both shimmer and matte shadows.  I find myself using both and getting tremendous use out of the palette in general. I will often times do a super simple look with just one color or use the combination of four to do a full blown eyeshadow look.

I find the range of colors to be very versatile and really encompass any shade I am looking for. The shadow glides on smooth and is very blendable which is essential for me. I found an amazing little cheat sheet for the palette on Pinterest (pictured below). Here is the link to an ingenious post about the palette, it just shows how versatile this palette is and all the different combinations possible. I personally LOVE the first quad shown below and wear it several times each week.

The palette is available at Target for just under $10.00. For this price the product can just not be beat. The Brights palette is available also and looks amazing!

I would recommend this palette to anyone who uses neutral eyeshadows on a regular basis. The palette would also be good to have on hand to add to any shadow look really. The lighter shades would work great as a base for more colorful shadow looks.

Irsan Natural Creams Review

Irsan Natural Creams Review

I recently got the opportunity to try out some of the products from Irsan. This is a company specializing in natural creams made from Italian ingredients. The products available range greatly so I was able to try out a little bit of everything. In this post I will be including my favorites and may end up doing another post in the future on the Traumyl Line after I get some more use out of the products so look for that!

Relaxing Massage Oil for Calm and Relaxation, 5.07 oz.

The first products I tried were the massaging oils. These oils are available in three different formulas; relaxing, energizing and stress relief. I really like the relaxing formula but all of the formulas have an amazing scent to them. The consistency of these products is very nice and the product absorbs nicely. I recommend giving these a try if you are looking for a massage oil that is comparable to one that they use in a spa for at home use!
RIDUCEL BELLY AND BUTTOCKS TREATMENT
Next up is the Riducel Belly and Buttock cream which is said to be great for skin elasticity. I think every woman would love a cream that could firm up their upper thigh area so I knew I needed to give this a try. I put this product on for the first time while doing my normal body skin care routine and I really liked the formula and consistency of it. Once again the scent of the product was very nice and light which I really look for in skin care products. After application there was a light tingle but the cream absorbed very quickly and there was no thick or sticky feeling. I plan to continue to use this product and I am hoping to see results very soon!

Riducel Natural Body Scrub with Pineapple, Lemon, Cinnamon & Rosemary, 200 mL

I also really enjoyed the body scrub from the Riducel line. I love trying new body scrubs as I really try to exfoliate my body on a weekly basis. I am always looking for a nice texture that isn't too abrasive but at the same time actually gets the job done. This product was a winner in my book! The formula seemed to be the perfect texture and the scent was amazing! This is a pineapple, lemon, cinnamon and rosemary scrub which I LOVED! Once again the scent was light but definitely enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a body scrub regularly!

RIDUCEL CREAM, Best Firming Cream, Skin Tightening Cream, Natural Skin Tightening Treatment
Finally, my favorite product so far from Irsan is the Riducel Cream. This is a firming, tightening cream that can be applied all over to fight against imperfections. I personally applied this cream as my all over moisturizer after showering and my skin felt amazing! I tend to have extremely dry hands from washing my hands so many times at work so a rich hand cream is essential for me. While applying this to my body and using the remainder on my hands I got great results! The formula is a great consistency and once again has a nice light scent. This one is a must try!

Check out all the awesome products Irsan has to offer at http://www.naturalcreamsshop.com/ !

Ogx Kukui Oil Review

Ogx Kukui Oil Review

This is an anti-frizz hydrating oil made from a blend of kukui nut oil. The packaging says kukui nut oil is an ancient Hawaiian secret used for it's humidity resistant abilities, creating a shimmering gloss to smooth texture and repel humidity. This product follows through on everything the packaging promises. I simply love this product!

I use this product everyday on both wet and dry hair. I normally spray it on my wet hair before brushing through it along with my detangler and Argan Magic products. It has an amazing, light scent to it that lasts for hours. I find it really helps add shine to my hair and reduce frizz. I also spritz the product on my hair in the morning once it has dried just to add even more shine. Recently I have also been spraying the product onto my hands and smoothing down baby hairs around my part. It is really an all around awesome product.

I am always looking for a new anti-frizz product as I feel like it is essential for my thick, wavy hair. So I figured I should give this a try as I really love my other Ogx products. I purchased this at Target on sale for less than five dollars. The product is available at Ulta for $7.99.

This product would work well for anyone looking to reduce frizz and add shine to their hair! It would be great for any hair type and really just adds to any hair care routine.

Argan Magic Review

Argan Magic Review

Before we get into the review for today I just want to give you guys a little more background on my hair. I have always had very thick hair. I generally keep it quite long but recently cut it to below my shoulder. My hair is naturally quite wavy and I always use this to my advantage. I never heat style my hair which keeps it in great condition with very rare breakage or split ends. By never I mean I have heat styled my hair once in the past year! I love the ease of just putting some product in and just letting my hair air dry. After I shower I always put some type of product in my hair, usually a curl/wave enhancer. Depending on my mood I will braid my hair and let it dry over night for a more defined wave. Okay now that we got that out of the way; into the review!

I got these product around Christmas time and have used them quite often since! I sometimes use them in conjunction to one another or on their own depending on the look I'm going for. When I am styling my hair with the intention of wearing my hair down I will use the Defining Curl Cream to give my hair the wave I am looking for. It does not make my hair feel greasy or crunchy in any way. The product is supposed to enhance waves & curls while adding definition and condition, detangle & reduce frizz. This product does all of those things! I will put this in before I even brush my hair just to make it a little easier.

I use the Split Endz Repair Cream anytime I am styling my hair with the intention of simply putting it up for work the next day. The product is supposed to seal and repair split ends and control frizz and static. Once again this product does all those things! The does not feel thick or greasy once applied. I have noticed an even softer texture after using this product for several months now. It feels like it does its job which I love!

I purchased mine at Marshalls! I got the Defining Curl Cream for $9.99 and the Split Endz Repair Cream for $7.99. I was not able to find a website that specifically sells Argan Magic products but they are available on Amazon!

I recommend these products to anyone looking to test out a new hair care line! These a great products available at affordable prices. The repair cream would be great for any hair type while the curl cream would most likely work best for hair with a wave already.

Garnier Skin Renew Eye Rollers

Garnier Skin Renew Eye Rollers Review

I have both the Anti-Dark Circle eye roller and the Ultra-Lift Anti Wrinkle eye roller Garnier eye rollers. I have had the Anti-Dark Circle roller for over a year and repurchased it. It is great to put on under concealer during your makeup routine. The color is extremely sheer but skin toned and blend-able. The Ultra-Lift Anti Wrinkle I have been consistently using for about four months. The super light and dries really well. I did not purchase it specifically for the Anti Wrinkle properties but simply the moisturizing effects it has. This one I apply before bed and in the morning when I apply moisturizer and lip balm.

I purchased both of the Anti-Dark Circle rollers at Target for under $13.00. The Anti-Wrinkle roller I actually got for $9.99 at Marshall's. These are really great products that last for a long time. I use these on an everyday basis and have only had to repurchase the Anti-Dark Circle roller once! For the price I definitely believe you get a great product payout. The Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle roller actually contains pro-retinal which is really great for wrinkle prevention.

I would highly recommend these products to anyone looking for an under eye product that is not too heavy. I love that I can just roll these on and they dry within minutes versus a gel or cream. These rollers have definitely changed my everyday skincare/makeup routine for good.

My Favorite Hair Ties!

The Only Hair Ties I Use Review

About six years ago I used the scunci no slip grip hair ties for the first time. After giving these a try for the first time I have not purchased other hair ties again! I have extremely thick, wavy hair so keeping it up requires a strong hair tie! These hair ties are a stretchy, elastic material that is described as a "no slip grip" and gentle on hair. Those descriptors are spot on!

I can use one of these hair ties to keep my hair up for hours versus the two I have to use with other hair ties. They last forever and rarely snap like other hair ties. They are gentle in that they do not pull hair out when you remove them.

I have always purchased these at Walmart or Target. They are available for here for less than five dollar.

Give these a try ladies! I highly recommend these to everyone and especially girls with thick hair!

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes Review

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes Review

I am always looking to try new products to figure out what works best for me. This is especially true for skin care products! I have semi-sensitive skin and some things work for me and others don't. I always like to have makeup remover wipes on hand to help me really get off all my makeup.

I recently picked these wipes up at Target as I was running low on the wipes that I had at the time. They are available anywhere drugstore products are sold. I purchased the thirty pack for $5.99.

The product is hypoallergenic with a light cucumber scent (which I love)! These wipes do their job by easily removing makeup without having to really rub and irritate your skin. They even easily remove eye makeup which is plus for me.

Overall, I would recommend these wipes as they do their job well and have a lovely scent! The price is not amazing for the quantity but the quality exceeds that of comparable products. Target's Up&up brand has a comparable product that I also would recommend!

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Review

Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Review

I had heard a lot of great things about the Not Your Mother's Beach Babe texturizing sea salt spray. My hair is naturally wavy so I generally use some sort of curling or texturizing product daily. I decided to give this product a try and see what all the hype was about.

This texturizing spray is infused with dead sea salt and sea kelp. The scent is somewhat beachy and very pleasant. I dislike any product that makes my hair feel "crunchy" or hard. This product did not do that at all! You can use it on both wet and dry hair. Typically I would use it on damp hair to add texture to my style. I finished off my first bottle and intend on repurchasing! The Beach Babe line also offers a shampoo, conditioner and texturizing cream!

I purchased mine at Target for less than ten dollars. This product can be used on all hair types therefore I would recommend it to anyone. It creates a great texture and wave without the "crunch" at a great price.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara Review

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara Review

I have found my new favorite drugstore mascara! This is the Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Flared Mascara. I have the Very Black shade in the waterproof formula. I purchased this product about a month ago from Target for just $5.00! Maybelline mascara was on sale two for $10.00 but normally the product is just $5.99. I have been using it almost everyday and have fallen in love with it!

My new favorite eye makeup look is liquid liner with curled lashes and this awesome mascara. The wand is flexible with a curved brush which really creates the flared look. I typically use just two coats and my lashes look long, full and flared! The formula does not clump and dries somewhat quickly.

Give this mascara a try ladies! I recommend this mascara to anyone who wants a awesome flared lash look for a great price!

The Wet Brush Review

The Wet Brush Review

Let me start off by saying after trying The Wet Brush I refuse to use any other brush! I have extremely thick, long and wavy hair. I have always hated brushing my hair out after a shower. I have heard its best to use a comb on wet hair but that is not an option for me as it would take upwards of thirty minutes for me to get through all my hair! The Wet Brush is safe to use on wet or dry hair making it the perfect solution!

I heard about The Wet Brush a TON from YouTube beauty gurus. Many said their easily tangled hair was easily brushed with The Wet Brush. I had to give it a try! I actually purchased mine at Target for under $10. My sisters and I all got one! The Wet Brush quickly became a family favorite. My sisters both have thick, wavy hair like mine and it works like a charm for us. My mom has thinner, straight hair and she is also a fan of The Wet Brush. It makes brushing your hair wet or dry a breeze.

The Wet Brush is available here for just $8.99. This brush changed my hair care routine for good! I highly recommend you give this a try if you have ever struggled with tangled hair or simply hate combing through your hair after a shower. You will not regret it!

Detangle Tips: I always brush my hair through in the shower after I condition my hair with a "shower comb". This really cuts down on tangles afterwards. I ALWAYS use a detangler spray to further prevent tangles. A super cheap one does the job perfectly fine. I like this one

Eye Makeup Remover Reviews

Eye Makeup Remover Reviews

This post is going to be a little different. I am gonna talk about my experience with several eye makeup removers. Prior to purchasing eye makeup removers I simply used makeup remover wipes. About a year ago I began using the Lancome Bi-Facial Eye Makeup Remover, available here. This is an AMAZING product but $29.00 for a product that you frequently repurchase is a little much for me. After that I began using the Equate Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover, available here. I repurchased this product several times simply for the low price point. This product works well and at only $3.97 I recommend giving it a try.

After running out of eye makeup remover and moving to an area without a Walmart I decided to give a new product a try. I chose to try the Maybelline Expert Eyes Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover. This product is $4.49 and is available here. This product is marketed to remove waterproof eye makeup. The product does a decent job of removing eye makeup but leaves behind an extremely greasy residue. I typically wash my face after removing my eye makeup yet even after this there is a greasy feeling. I will not be repurchasing this product.

I purchase the Garnier Clean + Nourishing Cleansing Oil about two weeks ago and fell in love with it! The day I purchased it I was swatching my other new purchases on my hand and decided to give this product a try to remove it. I massaged the oil on my dry hand, wet my hand which emulsified the oil and patted my hand dry. The products were completely gone! There was no trace of any of the products including two eyeliners. I was excited to give the product a try later that night. The product can be used a facial cleanser as well. I have been loving the results I have gotten from this product the past two weeks. It has a pleasant yet really light scent and leaves your skin feeling clean but not greasy. This product has quickly become a favorite of mine. It is $5.99 and I purchased mine at Target on sale for $4.89. I will most definitely be repurchasing this!

Do you guys have a favorite eye makeup remover I should try out?

Clarisonic Review

Clarisonic Mia 2 review

I got a Clarisonic for Christmas three years ago. It was the gift I really wanted and I was ecstatic when I received it.  The Clarisonic is a facial cleansing brush that can be used with any cleanser. I saw tons of magazine advertisements for the Clarisonic and heard a lot about it on YouTube. I researched the benefits of the brush and decided I needed to get one. I have the Clarisonic Mia 2 in the black leopard print.
I use mine each night as part of my night time routine. I love the results this gives me. I feel like my face is truly clean and this brush makes all the difference. The actual brush is available online here for $149.00. My boyfriend purchased mine at Macy's and they are also available at Sephora and Ulta. The only downside of this product is you have to replace the brush head about every three months. You can purchase the brush heads on the website for $27.00 or two for $44.00. I usually purchase generic ones from Amazon for around $12.00. They work just as well but are less than half the cost. That makes the downside of the product okay with me.
I have been using the sensitive skin brush heads for about a year now. I have had the best results with this brush head. I have pretty sensitive skin an this works well for me. The brush is waterproof and must be charged about every two weeks from my experience.

Overall, I recommend this facial cleansing brush to anyone looking to add to their skincare routine. It gives you a deep clean feeling and removes all makeup residue. It is worth the investment!

I also wanted to share the cleanser that had worked best for me with my Clarisonic.  This is the Clean&Clear foaming facial cleanser in sensitive. I have been using this cleanser for about two years and have had awesome results. I have semi-sensitive and slightly dry skin and this works great for me. It is a foaming cleanser so it works very well with the brush. I actually use all three products in the line; the cleanser, toner and moisturizer. They are available at any drugstore for under five dollars each!

Orly Basecoat and Topcoat Review

Orly Basecoat and Topcoat Review

I am always searching for a great basecoat and topcoat to make a manicure really last. Working in food service means I wash my hands a million times a day. It makes it hard to keep a manicure looking good for more than a day. I heard a lot about the Orly Bonder Rubberized Basecoat and decided I needed to give it a try. This got rave reviews on Pinterest and from several YouTube beauty gurus. When I purchased the basecoat I decided to give the Orly Won't Chip Topcoat a try as well. I had really high hopes for these products!

I got these products about six months ago and have used them many times since receiving them. I decided to give myself a manicure and see how long the results lasted for this post. I used my ZOYA Carter Pixiedust polish. The photo above is the manicure on the first day. The photo below is the next morning; after my ten hour shift the previous day. It is safe to say the results are not what I was expecting when I first purchased the products. I have had similar results every time I have used these products.

You can purchase the basecoat here and topcoat here. The are both available for ten dollars on the Orly site. You can also find them for lower prices on Amazon.

Overall Review: These products did not deliver the results I was hoping to find. They may work well for someone who does not do quite as much hand washing as I do on a regular basis.

Has anyone else had better results with these products? Or do you have a holy grail basecoat and topcoat?

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Review

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion Review

This is a product I heard A TON about before I decided I needed to give it a try. I had tried other eyeshadow primers and never had great results. My shadow always seemed to fade midday and I had somewhat accepted this as inevitable. This product is definitely worth all the hype.

I have the product in original so once it is applied it becomes nude. This formula glides on silky smooth and has a great texture. This product create the perfect slate for any shadow look. It allows for more vibrant colors and never creases. Your shadow look will last all day. This product is now the start of my everyday makeup routine. It makes all the difference.

This product is available at both Sephora and Ulta. The full size tube is $20.00; I consider this a higher end product. With that said, I feel like it is worth the price as it really allows you to get more out of your shadows. This is the squeeze tube version and really allows you to use just the little amount of product that is necessary. Just a tiny amount is more than enough so one tube will last quite awhile.

Overall Review: Completely recommend! All the talk about this product is true and after just a few uses it will become one of your holy grail products.

e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator Review

e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator

We are gonna start off with one of my favorite lip products. I have repurchased this product several times now so I figured I would share. This product does an amazing job of exfoliating while not being overly abrasive. At it's low price point you can't go wrong.

According to the e.l.f. site to use simply apply the product to clean, damp lips and massage in a circular motion. Gently wipe away and follow up with a balm. Personally, I use the product at night and apply a lip balm before going to bed. In the morning my lips are super soft and moisturized. The process is quick and easy to maintain on a nightly basis which is part of why I love it.

This is a sugar based formula infused with Vitamin A, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba oils. This combination is perfect to condition the lips especially during the winter months. It also has a nice, vanilla-ish but not overwhelming scent to it.

This is totally worth just $3! The product is available here. I have found it in Target, Wegmans and several drugstores. It is seems to be one of the more popular products and is often sold out in store so when I see it I also grab one!

Overall Review: 100% recommend to anyone who wants soft, moisturized lips. This is especially great during the harsh winter months!
